Dear Birth Mother,
It’s wonderful to meet you. We are so excited to be expanding our family through adoption. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. Our families have known each other for decades – we are childhood friends who grew into something so much more. In addition to our immediate families, we have a large, extended, chosen family that has surrounded us with love and support our whole lives, and together as a couple over the last 10 years.
We have a three-year-old son and a three-year-old standard poodle, and we know there is room in our hearts and our home for more laughter and love! As you make this very difficult decision, we hope that we can be partners along the way, helping you to feel seen and respected.
We can’t possibly begin to understand your experience, but we do hope that we can make you feel as if your wishes and dreams for yourself and your child are heard. Please trust we will respect any decision you make about openness or willingness for contact now or in the future but know we will always consider you a part of our family.
