Hi! What a strange way to start a letter! However, since we don’t know your name yet, we’ll have to begin this way. You are looking for a wonderful home and future for your child and we are looking to share our love and lives with a child in our family. Perhaps we are looking for each other? We understand that this may be a very difficult time, and we cannot even begin to understand the wide range of emotions that the adoption process is making you feel.
Let us begin by saying we have the utmost respect for you and what you are going through. We cannot imagine how difficult this process is going to be for you and we are keeping you in our thoughts. We hope that we will be able to support you as much as we possibly can, through the good, the difficult, and the scary times. As we sit to write this letter, our hearts are pounding with excitement and emotion. We are extremely happy to grow our family through adoption and are excited to start our family. We have so much love to give and will shower your child with so much care and support.
